Every year I draw a “holiday story calendar” for my friends and family. Loosely based on the idea of an advent calendar, my rules for myself are that it doesn’t need to have anything to do with Christmas, and the story must be told in images alone. 2020’s calendar, inspired by my friends and they way they build their homes and families, is one of my all-time favorites.
