You bring: A muslin or finished handmade garment that you would like to fit better, AND the flat sewing pattern pieces for that garment. We will be cutting and altering the flat pattern, so you may wish to bring a traced copy.

In this clinic-style workshop, you will learn about making adjustments to paper sewing patterns. Garment sewing expert Eliza West will help you adjust the fit or style of a pattern of your choice. She will walk you through identifying fit issues on a muslin or finished garment you have already made, then show you how to transfer any necessary alterations back to the flat pattern pieces. You will leave ready to sew a great-fitting version of the garment.
